Transition & Operations Management

Positive interactions with the Gate-16 trades (process, IT, HR) often lead some of our clients to entrust us with the management of the actual transformation programs.
  IT Transition

For large IT and TelCo infrastructures, a Transition Plan is essential to implement new operations contracts, or employ new IT providers . These types of plans cover all aspects including staffing, acquisition/installation of management tools (ticketing & monitoring, at minimum), definition and automation of service reports (monthly and trimestral) especially with regards to the SLAs, skills transfer, management of outsourced, process services, and integration with the client's existing processes...

Gate-16 has extensive experience with transitions of international organisations to the use of fibre optic networks in the Telecom sector, IT networks (network - security - converged communications) in the banking, data-centre (including relocation), and bank-insurance sectors. Gate-16 has successfully completed all of its assigned transitions, without any delays, within periods ranging from 3 to 18 months, and this work has led to multiple operations contracts.
  Operations Management

Re-organisation of support processes may strongly impact 'older' processes that continue to be used in production. This may be particularly true when variants of new processes are tested, since they may rely on production resources (including administrative)... At the client's request, Gate-16 can provide operational supervisors to manage teams in their 'day-to-day' work as well as the design, testing and implementation of the new processes.
